While the space felt a bit tight, there is outdoor seating available, though not ideal during colder months. The staff was friendly and worked efficiently despite the rush, managing to prepare drinks and pastries in a timely manner. Although their main menu didn't feature hot chocolate, the seasonal menu offered a Spicy Hot Chocolate, which we decided to try. It was a pleasant surprise--well-balanced, with just the right amount of spice to complement the rich chocolate flavor. The croissants and pastries were generously sized and paired well with the drinks. Overall, French Press is a great spot for breakfast or a quick snack. Whether you're craving a hot drink or a fresh pastry, it's worth a visit if you're in the area. ”

“ If you want certain bake items, please go early. Favorites sell out fast or place an order before. The matcha lemonade is very good. The chicken salad could of used more flavor and maybe some dry cranberries and pepper. All the bake goods are phenomenal. They have limited seating so I would recommend doing to go. ”

Croissants are light and always fresh - I would recommend the chocolate croissant which uses a higher-quality filling than one gets in any bakery around here. Outdoor seating is a big plus, especially in late summer or early fall when it's too nice to dine inside. There is a good amount of foot traffic at French Press, but the staff manages to keep the place clean, and that's not easy to do with an outdoor dining presence along a well-traveled street. It's not a bargain place but, for the service and quality found there, one would expect to pay more. Certainly recommended, especially for a quick bite or for lunch. ”

The only thing is it's kind of pricey both for the drinks and the food. I got the chicken empanadas which were way more expensive than I anticipated but tasty. It's a nice place but tight to get your coffee order. I plan to return but it isn't a place I'd go to on an everyday basis due to the price of items especially cumulatively. For 2 iced lattes and 2 chicken empanada orders it was around $30... ”
